In this exciting engineering camp, children design and build their own rubber band-powered boats, testing how far they can race and how much weight they can hold before sinking. Ready to set sail?
Through experimentation, students will explore real-world engineering principles in an exciting, hands-on way to the learn concepts of:
displacement
buoyancy
density
Each child will take home their boat and a parent info sheet outlining the key learning outcomes.
